2021-2022 Kindergarten/Y5 and Preschool Enrollment
We are excited to welcome our Little Wildcats to Wayland Union Schools in the Fall of 2021! Enrollment will begin Monday, February 15, 2021 for all programs. Preschool preferred enrollment period will end March 5, 2021 or until programs are filled. Preschool students must turn either 3 or 4 by September 1, 2021.
Kindergarten/Young Fives Enrollment
Students entering Kindergarten or Young Fives must turn five by September 1, 2021. To register, please follow the prompts in the link below. You will receive an email from our Administration office with instructions on turning in final paperwork.

Wayland Union Schools offers many options for preschool for both 3 and 4 year olds. Preschools are located at both Baker and Dorr Elementary Schools. Preferred enrollment for preschool is February 15 - March 5, 2021.
- Step 1: Parents can pick up a preschool packet at either Baker or Dorr Elementary School beginning Feb. 15.
- Step 2: Parents return completed paperwork to the local school and turn in deposit. (birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residency, etc.)Preference to in district students, with deposit, is given until March 5. After March 5, a first come basis is given based on capacity of the program, deposit, and paperwork submitted.
- Step 3: Parents will be asked to complete online registration before enrollment.
Below are the tuition programs. WUS residents receive a significant discount on rates thanks to the in lieu of tax revenue from the Gun Lake Casino. Non-resident rates are also available. There is no transportation for tuition preschool.
T/TH AM for 3's ONLY
M/W/F AM for 4's ONLY
M/W/F Extended Day for 4's ONLY
**All preschool classes will be offered during February registration, however, a determination will be made in May if every session will be offered based on interest.
**Please bring a copy of the student’s birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency.
