NHS Inducts New Members

The WUHS chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 36 members on Wednesday, October 12 at the Wayland Union Fine Arts Center. Candidates for this chapter must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale to demonstrate appropriate academic scholarship. The selection of qualified candidates are then considered based on their records of service, leadership and character.

The National Honor Society (NHS) seeks to elevate a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. In order to be considered for induction, students must be a junior or senior and demonstrate characteristics of these four pillars. Advisors are Mrs. Bethany Teeple and Mr. Chris Jasinski.
