COVID Reporting During Spring Break

Wayland Union Schools are closed Friday, April 2 - Sunday, April 11, 2021. 

During spring break, please report positive COVID-19 cases to [email protected] or call (269) 792-2181.

• After contact tracing, any identified direct contacts will be notified by a voice message through Infinite Campus. Direct contacts will also receive an email with a letter.
• A public notice of each case will be posted to the Wayland Union Schools website within 24 hours.
• COVID-19 Dashboard will be paused and will resume on Friday, April 16, 2021.
• A letter summarizing the cases over break will be sent to district staff and families on Sunday, April 11, 2021. 

COVID-19 notification protocols will resume on Monday, April 12, 2021. 

Continued vigilance and personal responsibility is necessary for a healthy and safe return to school after spring break. If COVID-19 symptoms develop, you can call 2-1-1 or go to ​www.michigan.gov/coronavirustest​ for testing locations.  When experiencing symptoms, please be mindful of others by staying home until you are feeling better and/or have a negative test result.
