Back to School Information
Welcome Back Students!
Students will return to school five full days a week for the 2021-2022 school year.
The first day of school is Monday, August 23, 2021 and will be a half day of school.
Half Day dismissal times are:
- Baker Elementary, 12:00 noon
- Dorr Elementary, 11:50am
- Steeby Elementary, 11:45am
- Pine Street Elementary, 10:30am
- Wayland Union Middle School, 10:45am
- Wayland Union High School, 10:35am
Food Service
IMPORTANT: Breakfast and lunch will be free to ALL students for the 2021-2022 school year. We would still encourage families to complete the free and reduced lunch application. Important school funding is based on free and reduced lunch numbers.

School Supplies
Wayland Union Schools will supply Elementary students at Baker, Dorr, Steeby and Pine Street Elementary free school supplies. Students will need gym shoes. Please check with your child's school for any further questions.
Middle School Supply List
Transportation

Athletics
If your middle or high school student plans on playing a sport in the 2021-2022 school year, they will need a physical dated after April 15, 2021. MHSAA Physical Form
