Coffee Shop

Last week, Mrs. Timmer's class at Steeby Elementary was able to hold a Valentine's Day-themed coffee shop for staff to enjoy!

The coffee shop focuses on sequencing skills, appropriate social interactions, following directions, occupational safety, and listening skills. The shop is open two days a month, and those are everyone's favorite days! Students are working towards independence in this process and have truly loved growing in these skills. It has truly fostered the principle of inclusion and acceptance in the building, allowing students and staff to build strong relationships.
