Stronger Together: A Parent Education Series

Wayland Union Schools is proud to partner with 4 One 2 Cares to bring our families a series of informative, practical, and relevant workshops throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

Our goal is simple: support and empower families while strengthening our school community.

On Thursday, August 20th, 2026, 6th - 12th grade parents were invited to meet the Clayful team, ask questions, and learn how their platform can support students.

Clayful is an on-demand, text based coaching system for students. This service provides day-to-day support through text based coaching chats with a certified coach. Students can receive extra support to help them reduce stress, reach goals, and build healthy habits for success.

For students under 12 years old, parents must provide consent BEFORE students can utilize Clayful's services. Students 12 years and older can automatically chat with Clayful coaches, unless a parent removes consent. To provide consent, or remove it, please sign this form opens in a different tab.

On September 23rd, 2026, Wayland Union Schools held a Bullying 101 workshop for parents and guardians at the WUS Administration Building.

Topics included:

  • Michigan's definition of bullying
  • Bullying vs conflict
  • When and how schools intervene
  • What parents should document/report
  • How social media complicates investigations
  • How to raise "upstanders"
