OPE Nominees Recognized at Board Meeting

Outstanding People in Education is an award the Allegan County School Board Association established 14 years ago. The award recognizes individual who are excelling in their field and/or making an impact in the quality of education in Allegan County. This year we had 31 nominees who were recognized at the board meeting on April 10, 2023. The 3 individuals who were selected to represent the district for the award this year were also announced: Cierra Onken, Level 2 Special Education Teacher; Dawn Stein, Administrative Assistant; and Chris Teller, Fine Arts Center Director.
