WUHS Names Teagan Robinson as 2025–26 DAR Good Citizen

Wayland Union High School has named senior Teagan Robinson as its 2025–26 DAR Good Citizen, an honor presented through the Daughters of the American Revolution. This award recognizes a graduating senior who exemplifies the qualities of dependability, service, and leadership.

Robinson has distinguished herself as a student leader who consistently puts others first and works to strengthen the culture of Wayland Union High School.

Teagan is an exceptional student, maintaining a 4.1 GPA, while serving in numerous leadership roles that have directly shaped the school community. She currently serves as President of Eco Club and Yearbook, Co-Delegation Leader for Michigan Youth and Government, Public Relations Officer for National Honor Society, Student Council Representative and Student Representative on the Wayland Union School Board. In each role, she demonstrates professionalism, vision, and genuine care for others.

Her leadership extends beyond titles. Robinson is the co-founder of Wildcat Nation, a student spirit and culture group that has brought renewed energy and pride to the WUHS community. She is also actively involved in PALS, Varsity Volleyball, Tennis, and statewide organizations including the Michigan Department of Education Student Advisory Council and has previously served on the Kids’ Food Basket Youth Action Board, a community service group that is no longer active. Teagan approaches each commitment with integrity, balance, and a strong commitment to service.

As the WUHS DAR Good Citizen, Robinson will advance to the regional essay scholarship competition sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Teagan Robinson has left a lasting legacy at Wayland Union High School through her leadership, service, and character. Her efforts have helped create a more connected, engaged, and positive school environment, and she serves as a role model for students across the building.
